Immersing in Bohol’s Fiesta Heritage
The Provincial Government of Bohol, through the Bohol Provincial Tourism Office (BPTO), unveiled the “Fiesta sa Bohol” Tour during the 2025 Sandugo sa Bohol–Bahas Event held from August 27 to 29, 2025. This three-day, two-night experience showcased Bohol’s cultural heritage, countryside wonders, and the vibrant spirit of the island’s traditional fiestas.
Inspired by the Cebuano term bahas — to move with purpose — the itinerary guided participants through scenic landscapes on Day One before immersing them in the heartbeat of a true Boholano fiesta celebration on Day Two.
Participated in by tour operators from Bohol and other regions across the country, including members of the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA), the tour aimed to provide industry stakeholders with a firsthand experience of Bohol’s unique fiesta traditions. The curated experience also allowed partners to help refine the package and strengthen its overall appeal and market readiness.
The initiative highlights Bohol’s commitment to authentic cultural experiences, community collaboration, and sustainable tourism promotion.
