The ALICIA ULTRA this coming April 16, 2023 is scheduled to be Bohol Island’s first trail ultramarathon. The race will be held in the beautiful town of Alicia. The trail course is set over the luscious green rolling hills of the Alicia Panoramic Park, oil palm plantations, rice paddies, and Alicia’s tourist destinations. Last March 27, 2023, The Local Government Unit of Alicia, together with the organizers, volunteers, uniformed personnel, and barangay stakeholders held a forum on Risk Assessment & Management for the Alicia Ultra. This is a testament to our commitment in ensuring the welfare and safety not just for the runners, but also to the community we share our passion with. As one of the results of the assessment, it is now MANDATORY for ALL RUNNERS to provide a valid Medical Certificate stating your fitness to run (issued within 3-months prior to event date), with a printed hardcopy to be submitted to race officials upon claiming of kits/check-in. This is also on top of the mandatory signed waiver. For everyone’s strict compliance. NO MEDCERT, NO WAIVER, NO RUN.
