The Provincial Government of Bohol joins the rest of the World in celebrating the World Tourism Day.
This global event’s goal is to strengthen the international community and recognize tourism’s social, economic, cultural and political contribution.
Tourism is one of the world’s largest industries and also one of the fastest growing economic sectors. For most countries, tourism is seen as a main instrument for national and regional development, as it stimulates new economic activities. Undeniably one of the major significant contributor in providing better future to people.
Though we are facing a serious pandemic crisis, our country’s tourism sector has shown great resilience and got us working together in attaining an inclusive growth. Ensuring people and communities are reached ,support is always available and that no one is left behind as the world reopens.
The World Tourism Day is celebrated every year on 27th of September with this year’s theme:
“TOURSIM FOR INCLUSIVE GROWTH”
